The Home Renovation Incentive Scheme has been extended to 31st December 2018. It is applicable to your main home or rental property. If you spend between €5000 – €30,000 on renovations, home repairs or improvements, e.g., a new kitchen / wardrobe the Government will refund the VAT element of 13.5% to you the homeowner. Your Contractor must be registered for VAT and be tax-compliant.
